Indiana Black Legislative Caucus

The Indiana Black Legislative Caucus held a meeting with reporters today to announce its 2026 legislative priorities. Like the Democratic House and Senate caucuses, the IBLC is prioritizing cost-of-living bills for working Hoosiers.

"I think it's important that people understand the things that we fight off every session or we push back on every session because we spend most of our time playing defense," said Rep. Ragen Hatcher (D-Gary).
