Indy10 Black Lives Matter

The local Black Lives Matter group, Indy 10, held a rally on Monument Circle Saturday after a week of action.

Several dozen protesters gathered for the second consecutive night following the announcement that an Indianapolis police officer would not face criminal charges in the fatal shooting of 21-year-old Dreasjon Reed.

An agreement has been reached between Indy10, Individual protesters and the city of Indianapolis that limits the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Departments use of chemical agents against protesters.

A street mural reading "Black Lives Matter" in Downtown Indianapolis was defaced over the weekend.

The ACLU of Indiana and Indy10 Black Lives Matter filed a lawsuit Thursday against the City of Indianapolis for the use of chemical agents and projectiles on protesters.
