Lugar Tower

A Marion County judge ordered a jury trial yesterday in a lawsuit brought by residents of the Lugar Tower Apartment Complex. The move comes as a different judge demanded the Indianapolis Housing Agency respond to new evidence alleging it violated a court-ordered compliance agreement governing the public housing property for elderly and disabled people.

The lawsuit against Lugar Tower is residents' third since 2023 claiming that administrators' alleged neglect is a violation of tenant rights under Indiana law.
