The Indiana NAACP announced on Friday it will help fund the installation of solar panels on the roof of a community center in Evansville.

The Indiana NAACP is partnering with Indiana State University and the Union of Concerned Scientists to teach residents how to use kits to test for lead in soil, air, and water.

The legal action was brought on behalf of Indiana's NAACP and the League of Women Voters.
