Gov. Mike Braun praises READI grants, but did not include in new state budget

Indiana Governor Mike Braun has voiced support for the state’s READI regional grant program, intended to help finance economic development projects statewide. As IPR’s Thomas Ouellette reports, that’s as the new two-year state budget doesn’t include a third round of the grants.

Gov. Eric Holcomb helped break ground Tuesday on the first project of READI 2.0, the second phase of the state’s regional economic development initiative.
