Rep. Jackie Walorski

Republican Rudy Yakym will be the next representative for Indianas 2nd congressional district after winning the special and general elections for the open seat.

On Wednesday, the Elkhart County Sheriff's Office said Walorski was travelling south and was hit by a northbound driver. Now, they say new evidence indicates the opposite is true.
