Section 8

The Housing Choice Vouchers Program, also known as Section 8, was created to help low-income families, elderly persons, veterans and disabled individuals afford housing in the private market.

The Indianapolis Housing Agency presented a 12-month action plan Monday. The initiative aims to better internal operations, improve property upkeep and restore the struggling agency's reputation.
