Dozens of researchers and specialists descended on southern Indiana over the weekend to create a snapshot of one wetland’s biodiversity.

The preserve was closed last summer so Sycamore Land Trust volunteers and contractors could build the elevated boardwalk

The Sycamore Land Trust's acquisition will add 84 acres to the Beanblossom Bottoms Nature Preserve in northwestern Monroe County.

Sycamore Land Trust says the land is along Beanblossom Creek, about a mile northwest of the group's current Beanblossom Bottoms Nature Preserve.
