Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indiana Inc. will idle its Princeton plant on April 1, 8, 14, 15 and 18, the company said.

The expansion of the automaker's Princeton facility will accommodate the production of two new SUVs and create 1,400 jobs.

The recall covers certain 2003 through 2008 Corolla compact sedans and 2005 through 2008 Matrix hatchbacks.

Vehicles made by Toyota, Honda, Kia, Hyundai, Mitsubishi and Fiat Chrysler from the 2010 through 2019 model years are included in the probe.
