Ivy Tech Community College is offering in-person or virtual college courses at no cost — including free tuition, fees and books — for high school students this summer.

Hoosier high schoolers will have the option to finish dual credit credentials for free this summer, through a pandemic-relief funded program being offered for the second year.

Universities across Indiana held ceremonies celebrating winter graduates this month, and some from Vincennes University reflected on their experiences after they crossed the stage ahead of the end of year holidays.

The program's goal is to train individuals for full-time careers with competitive wages, access to benefits and a pathway to career advancement.

The meeting focused on members sharing challenges they're experiencing in their line of work.

The 11 new planes will replace nine current aircraft in the school's aviation program that average 14 years old.

The plans approved Monday call for the nearly 40,000 square-foot simulated mine to be built at the school's Gibson County Center for Advanced Manufacturing and Logistics near Fort Branch.
