What’s called the Super Bowl for historic preservationists starts today as Indianapolis hosts the 2013 National Preservation Conference.
Union Station will serve as the home-base for the gathering of about 1,200 people. Field sessions will be held around the city and state. Today Old City Hall at Alabama and Ohio streets will be featured. The conference will also highlight Talbott Street, The Columbia Club and Indiana Landmarks headquarters at the Old Centrum in the Old Northside Historic District. Field sessions will take visitors to West Baden Springs and Columbus. The conference wraps up on Saturday.
