New Research Looks At 45 Years Of Indianapolis Neighborhood History

Researchers say a large population of white residents left the city's core in the 1970's, and Indianapolis neighborhoods have been changing ever since.

Researchers at IUPUI studied over 40 years of neighborhood development in Indianapolis for a new report on income, education and gentrification in the city.

WFYI’s Drew Daudelin sat down with one of its authors, Matt Nowlin, to talk about what they found.
