This position is for an inclusive and collaborative person who will be part of the WFYI Content team and supports WFYI’s Community Engagement goals.

The Digital Content Intern will have the opportunity to learn and contribute to the creation, editing, and distribution of captivating content across various digital and broadcast platforms.

This intern will learn how to help WFYI effectively leverage data to engage WFYI major and mid-level donors ensuring maximum monthly and annual revenue. The intern will assist with timely research and prospecting reporting and play an active role in fundraising solicitations.

The digital content intern will learn to create, edit, and distribute compelling content for a variety of digital and broadcast platforms. This position will gain experience in video and audio production, professional editing techniques, and writing for both the big and small screen.

The Investigative Reporter, Health will further WFYI and Side Effects Public Media’s in-depth and accountability reporting. This reporter will uncover wrongdoing and produce high impact accountability health journalism that has local, regional and national impact.

This role is based in Indianapolis, Indiana, and is part of our Midwest public health reporting collaboration Side Effects Public Media. It reports daily and in-depth journalism to explain public health policies meant to serve everyone --- where they succeed, where they fail, and efforts to fix them.
