Ken Burns’ THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION: Film & Forum
Experience the American Revolution through the lens of acclaimed filmmaker Ken Burns. This special event at the Vigo County History Center begins with a screening of an excerpt from THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION, Burns’ latest documentary project. Following the film, a panel of local historians, educators, and community leaders—including Indiana State University professors Don Maxwell and Dan Clark, Vigo County Historian Suzy Dunning, Native American Museum Director Jane Creedon, and local high school teachers—will share reflections on the documentary’s themes, historical interpretations, and contemporary relevance. The program concludes with an audience question-and-answer session, offering an opportunity for thoughtful discussion of the people, events, and ideas that shaped the nation’s founding.
In partnership with Indiana State University.
