Mental health is a growing concern across Indiana, yet older adults ages 60 and older are not consistently centered in mental health discussions. As the population of older Hoosiers continues to grow, understanding their unique mental health needs is increasingly important. This SAVI Talks conversation will explore mental health trends among older adults in Central Indiana, drawing on data and community insight to highlight challenges related to social isolation, access to care, and suicide risk, as well as promising practices for supporting mental wellbeing later in life.
