25th Safe Night Halloween to take place on Oct. 31

For the 25th year, the Indiana State Fairgrounds & Event Center, along with several community partners, will host Safe Night Halloween.

The outdoor "trunk or treat"-style event will be Sunday, Oct. 31 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Celebration Park within the Fairgrounds. Upon entering the Fairgrounds at either Fall Creek Parkway or 38th Street, attendees can follow the directional signs to the park.

The Indiana State Fairgrounds & Event Center’s Safe Night Halloween is open to children ages 12 and under who are accompanied by an adult, with parking and admission free to all.

This annual event began as a community service for State Fairgrounds-area neighborhood families, and has greeted more than 60,000 area children since 1996.
