KOKOMO, Ind. (AP) — The leading Republican candidates for Indiana's open Senate seat have agreed to a debate later this month in Kokomo.

Fourth District Republican Chairman Craig Dunn announced Monday that candidates Eric Holcomb, Marlin Stutsman and Todd Young have confirmed they'll participate in the Jan. 16 debate at a Kokomo restaurant.

The debate will be held in conjunction with the Howard County Republican Century Club's annual breakfast.

Dunn says questions will be submitted in writing by those attending the event.

The seat is being vacated by retiring Republican Sen. Dan Coats.
