Indiana’s largest industrial hemp grower, Biodynamic Ventures, plans to expand its crop in 2020. And its sister company BDX recently opened phase one of its hemp extraction facility in Westfield.

WFYI’s Taylor Bennett spoke with Biodynamic Ventures President and CEO John Bales about his ambition to make Indiana the country’s foremost grower and processor of hemp, and the lobbying he’s done for state legislation that supports that goal.
