Pence Stumps For Braun At Indianapolis Fundraiser

As former Vice President Joe Biden campaigned for U.S. Sen. Joe Donnelly (D-Ind.) in northwest Indiana Friday, current Vice President – and former Governor – Mike Pence told a room full of Republicans in Indianapolis why they should elect Donnelly’s GOP opponent Mike Braun. 

Pence was the keynote speaker at the state GOP fall fundraising dinner.

Much of Pence’s speech focused on the Trump administration and its efforts. He also made sure to note his predecessor’s trip to Indiana to stump for Donnelly.

Pence said what drew him home to Indiana was the state’s crucial U.S. Senate race between Donnelly and Mike Braun:

“Mike’s going to bring that practical experience and that principled conservative agenda into the well of the United States Senate,” Pence says.

Pence also reserved plenty of attacks for Donnelly.

“A vote for Joe Donnelly is a vote to turn the United States Senate into the center of resistance," Pence says.

Republicans launched a new TV ad the day of Pence’s visit with the vice president attacking Donnelly.
