The Indiana Department of Transportation held a virtual presentation today to discuss plans for the I-65/I-70 split and to collect public input.Todays presentation includes an environmental assessment of the project as well as the reasons for it and a review of all proposed plans. Those plans and public comments will then be sent to the Federal Highway Administration for further evaluation.

The Indianapolis Public Transportation Corporation (IPTC) will have a meeting on Monday, July 27, to discuss potential changes to Open Door, Marion Countys paratransit service. IPTC commissioned an analysis last year to find ways to improve the service and reduce costs. But advocates say the changes under consideration could reduce the service area or add new restrictions on using the service.
