Scott Hoke

Scott Hoke has been WFYI’s local "Morning Edition" host on 90.1 FM since November, 2004. He also serves as an on-air host for many of 90.1 FM and WFYI Public Television's local program specials.

Away from WFYI, Scott hosts the popular Mecum Collector Car Auctions on Discovery's Velocity Network.  He’s one of the public address announcers for the Indy 500 and Brickyard 400 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. And he serves as the host for the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra's summer concert series, Symphony on the Prairie.

Scott’s also in demand as a voice over artist, video spokesman and emcee. His long list of clients includes The NCAA, ESPN, CBS Sports, FOX Sports, Dow AgroSciences, Rolls-Royce Allison, Honda, AAA, Firestone, U.S. Dept. of Energy, The Hal Leonard Corporation, The Indianapolis Indians, and more.

Before coming to WFYI, Scott was the Indiana Pacers' television host for six years on FOX Sports Indiana and WB4. He was also a sports anchor and reporter for WRTV-6 (ABC).

He holds a bachelor's degree in Radio/TV from Butler University, and got his start in public radio at the school's former NPR station, WAJC. Scott is an avid musician, (he plays bass in his band, The StoreyTellers) and also enjoys cycling, photography and fishing. He and his wife Kelly, and their four children, live in Hendricks County.
