Indigenous Peoples’ Day is a holiday that celebrates, commemorates and honors Indigenous histories and cultures. It is celebrated across the U.S. on the second Monday in October.

The Eiteljorg Museum's revamped Native American Galleries will show works spanning more than 170 years when they reopen in June.

Lilly Endowment Inc. has awarded 18 grants totaling more than $43 million to museums and other cultural institutions across the U.S. to develop exhibitions and other programs that portray the role of religion in the society.

The National Endowment for the Arts has announced the awarding of eight grants totaling $145,000 to arts organizations and cultural programming providers in Indiana for the fall of fiscal year 2016.
