Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis Polis Center researchers tracked food accessibility trends and found 10 percent more people live in a food desert than did in 2016 – more than 208,000 Marion County residents are food insecure.

WFYI’s Darian Benson covers food insecurity and spoke with researchers Unai Miguel Andres and Matt Nowlin about the recently published data.
