What's Brewing at WFYI: Arts & Culture + Community Engagement

We'd like to invite you to our next What’s Brewing at WFYI! Join us on Thursday, July 23, from 12 – 1:30 p.m. in the WFYI studios for a conversation about WFYI's Arts & Culture programming and community engagement initiatives—highlighting two areas of work shaping WFYI’s impact across Central Indiana.

At the conversation, WFYI President & CEO Greg Petrowich will be joined by WFYI host Kyle Long to explore WFYI’s Arts & Culture programming. Each week on Cultural Manifesto, Kyle brings forward stories and sounds from the creative frontlines—spotlighting local musicians, drawing from cultural archives and featuring artist interviews that highlight how creators shape meaning through sound in Indianapolis and beyond.

WFYI Vice President of Community Engagement Gail Thomas Strong will also share insights into WFYI’s community engagement efforts, including partnerships with neighborhood organizations, schools and cultural institutions across Central Indiana. She will discuss how WFYI brings people together through community conversations, events and listening sessions, while creating opportunities for audiences to engage with our journalism and storytelling.
