International School of Indiana harvested hundreds of pounds of produce this year during its garden project initiative. In addition to teaching students about agriculture, the program connected them with refugee and immigrant families through the Immigrant Welcome Center as they maintained the garden while students and teachers were gone for the summer.

WFYI’s Taylor Bennett spoke with Jeremiah White, who started the program and Elizabeth Head, the ISI Head of School.
