Citizens Energy Group said the lane closure will be between Central and Park avenues and is expected to last until Sept. 2.
This work is part of the Fall Creek Tunnel project, which is connected the larger DigIndy Tunnel System. Citizens said once the 3.9-mile Fall Creek Tunnel is complete in 2025, sewer overflows now going to Fall Creek will be redirected to the tunnel.
