Remembering Robert Kennedy's Speech The Night Martin Luther King Jr. Was Assassinated

Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated in Memphis, Tennessee on April 4, 1968. Robert F. Kennedy, in Indianapolis campaigning for President, delivered the news at what is now called Kennedy King Park on the city’s near east side. Every year the community commemorates the event rain or shine.

WFYI Producer Aric Hartvig sat down to talk with some who were there that evening, and shares their memories of the historic event.
