The city of Indianapolis will try to acquire the historic apartment building on Indianapolis’ north side.

An amendment added to a bill seeks to have IndyGo pay for utility work connected to construction of its rapid transit lines.

A bill being considered by Indiana lawmakers would make it more difficult for IndyGo to cover costs and put new rapid transit lines at risk.

The Indiana Senate approved an amendment this week that, its author says, would spur IndyGo to comply with state law requiring it to raise private money to help fund its operations.

Once temperatures are below 50 degrees, the buss charge becomes too low to complete routes.

The free fare period will extend through Nov. 30 because delays with the new MyKey system made it necessary to put a temporary fare collection system in place.

IndyGo's Red Line buses will now take passengers to 96th Street on the citys north side and to Greenwood Park Mall on the south side.

IndyGo says as of late September, ticket vending machines are unable to accept bills for cash transactions, and the user interface for administering the fare system is behind schedule.
