U.S. Attorney General William Barr was in Indianapolis to provide an update on Operation Legend, a federal program to address an increase in gun violence.

U.S. Attorney General William Barr is scheduled to speak at Notre Dame Law School on Friday afternoon. A spokesperson for the university says the event is private although it will provide media access.

The protest is called Whistles for Whistleblowers in reference to a whistleblower complaint that spurred an impeachment inquiry.

The Justice Department has been excising sensitive, classified and other material from the special counsel's report about Russian interference in the 2016 election. That task is now complete.
