The annual Indiana College Readiness report found 82 percent of Hoosier students who enrolled in college in 2014 were prepared for coursework -- that’s an improvement of five percentage points from the previous year.
Former University president Paul Ferguson resigned Jan. 25 after 17 months in office. The school's board of trustees came under fire over a lack of transparency following Ferguson's departure. Trustees say the forums are an effort to engage the community and campus.
Indiana’s 21st Century Scholar program offers income-eligible Hoosier students up to four years of full tuition at certain Indiana colleges. In 2014-2015 school year, the number of 21st Century Scholars taking and completing 30 credit hours per year increased by 23 percent at four-year colleges and 24 percent at two-year colleges.
