Big Brothers Big Sisters Targets Male Mentors In New Campaign
Teen violence is a lingering problem in Indianapolis. Recently, city and public safety officials met with the public on what can be done to help guide young people down a different path. Some have suggested more police, other ideas include making the teen curfew earlier. One organization launched a new campaign that costs nothing but time, but hopes to get major returns.

IFD Chief Sanford Looking Back And Looking Forward
After 30 years in the Department and the last six leading it, Indianapolis Fire Chief Brian Sanford is stepping down. He announced the decision this week after disclosing he is battling amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), or Lou Gehrig's Disease. Sanford is moving on as the Chief of Staff for Department of Public Safety Director, Troy Riggs. He sat down with WFYI's Sam Klemet, who has this report.
