Saving bees. The bee crisis in North America is big news in terms of food production. Our guests will be George and Christine Plews, Indianapolis lawyers who are firmly invested in bee re-population, having funded the hive at NPR HQ in Washington, DC and the upcoming hive on the WFYI green roof. They will be joined by local beekeeper and urban farmer Kate Franzman (bee public), whose business is moving bees and saving hives.
