Free Transportation Available On Election Day

Indianapolis Cultural Trial will provide free access to Pacers Bikeshare on Election Day.

Executive Director Kären Haley said anyone can check out a bike for free at any of the 50 Pacers Bikeshare stations.

“We want to make sure we can provide free transportation for people who need it to get to the polls on Election Day," Haley said. "Also there is so much going on that maybe a nice bike ride outside and fresh air on Election Day might be great for people’s mental health as well.”

Haley said people can download the Bicycle mobile App for contact-free check-out.

IndyGo will also offer free bus rides on Election Day. All IndyGo fixed route and Open-Door service will operate fare-free from the start of service until 10 p.m.
