Holcomb Names Former Daniels' Aid To Be Campaign Manager

INDIANAPOLIS – U.S. Senate candidate Eric Holcomb announced Monday that Justin Garrett – a former Mitch Daniels aid – will serve as his campaign manager.

Garrett is the former executive director of the Indiana Republican Party and former political director for Daniels’ 2008 campaign for governor. Holcomb managed that race and worked with Garrett in the governor’s office and at GOP headquarters.

“Justin has been at my side helping to pave a path to positive results,” Holcomb said.

While working at the state party, Garrett organized field operations that assisted in giving Republicans a majority of city halls, a majority of the state’s congressional delegation and a legislative supermajority in the Statehouse.

Garrett said he is looking forward to helping Holcomb in his Senate campaign. “Eric is ready to tackle our nation’s toughest challenges,” he said.

Holcomb is running against U.S. Rep. Marlin Stutzman, R-3rd District, to win the GOP nomination in the Senate race.
