IndyFringe is ready for new performances after being shut down by the pandemic last year.

The theater officially reopened with outdoor performances on Mass Ave and just wrapped up Divafest over the past weekend. The performances included four plays scheduled for last April that were postponed due to COVID-19.

New CEO Justin Brady said there is light at the end of the tunnel for many performers.

“This festival and the other many events that we will be producing over the coming months and the other arts organizations around Indianapolis will really be a lifeline for these artists,” Brady said.

COVID-19 health and safety protocols will continue this summer with all performances being held outdoors. Face masks and social distancing will be required.
