BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (AP) — Alumni of Indiana University have until June 30 to cast their votes for the next school trustee.

Degree holders from any IU campus elect three of the school's nine trustees. An election is held once a year for one of the seats, which have three-year terms. The governor appoints the other six trustees.

The (Bloomington) Herald-Times reports that candidates for this year's seat are incumbent Philip N. Eskew Jr. and challengers Dr. Jay Asdell and Mike Wilcox.

Eskew is a retired physician from North Webster and is seeking his third term. Asdell is an IU dental school graduate and his daughter attends IU. Wilcox is a school superintendent and played football at IU.

Voting is online or by paper ballot.
