Two Butler University faculty received a grant to fund a 10-year study about mothers of high schoolers involved in extracurriculars.

Experts say tackling mental health concerns early is key in preventing issues in college or adulthood, but families face shortages of mental health resources.

According to a study, more than 70 percent of adolescents were working jobs in the 1970s. That dropped to around 55 percent in 2014.
