The Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles will not have to provide a nonbinary gender marker on state IDs and drivers licenses under an Indiana Court of Appeals ruling.

The newest member of the Indiana Court of Appeals is Hamilton County Judge Paul Felix.

The appeal filed Thursday night with the Indiana Court of Appeals said the court "should stay the trial court's preliminary injunction pending appeal, and at the very least, should issue a temporary stay while this motion is briefed."

Morgan County Judge Peter Foley is the newest member of the Indiana Court of Appeals

The commission nominated Morgan Superior Court Judge Peter Foley, Owen Circuit Judge Kelsey Hanlon and criminal defense attorney Stacy Uliana of Bargersville for the First District vacancy.
