The Court of Appeals of Indiana rejected Attorney General Todd Rokita’s request for an expedited response on Indiana’s abortion ban this afternoon. 

The lawsuit was filed last week against Indiana Gov. Eric Holcomb and Attorney General Todd Rokita, on behalf of multiple anonymous "involuntarily pregnant women."

The appeal filed Thursday night with the Indiana Court of Appeals said the court "should stay the trial court's preliminary injunction pending appeal, and at the very least, should issue a temporary stay while this motion is briefed."
