She will work to raise awareness of the Vincennes territorial capital sites, Angel Mounds in Evansville, Historic New Harmony, the Corydon state capital, the Culbertson Mansion in New Albany and Madison's Lanier Mansion.

The communities of Angola/Fremont and Valparaiso in northern Indiana and Madison in southern Indiana are semifinalists for a $3 million prize in the America's Best Communities contest.
