As Roger Penske investigated the cheating incident that cost Josef Newgarden his IndyCar season-opening victory, never did Newgarden worry about his job security at Team Penske.

Josef Newgarden put his cheating scandal behind him to become the first back-to-back winner of the Indianapolis 500 since Helio Castroneves 22 years ago and give Roger Penske a record-extending 20th win in “The Greatest Spectacle in Racing.”

Josef Newgarden returns to the speedway for Sunday's race as the defending Indy 500 winner but caught in a cheating scandal that has damaged his pristine reputation and that of Team Penske.
