Democratic Indianapolis City-County Council member Nick Roberts is one of the latest Indiana officials dragged into threats targeting state lawmakers. Roberts is unique in that he is one of the first local officials — and a Democrat — to announce was threatened.

A 37-year-old central Indiana man has been indicted in connection with a telephone threat made to a municipal clerk in Michigan following the 2020 presidential election.
