120 People Face Drug Charges In Suburban Indianapolis

FRANKLIN, Ind. (AP) — A south suburban Indianapolis prosecutor says more than 100 people are facing drug charges.

Johnson County Prosecutor Brad Cooper said Thursday that 120 people face charges for dealing methamphetamine, heroin, cocaine, marijuana, or other drugs.

He says more than 60 of those charged were arrested Thursday morning.

Cooper believes the charges will reduce the county's crime rate over the next few months.

A year ago, the prosecutor's office charged 63 people in drug raids.
