Franklin College To Host Debate On Proposed Same Sex Marriage Amendment

Franklin College will host an informational debate on the proposed state constitutional amendment banning same sex marriages on Jan. 13 at 7 p.m. in the Branigin Room of the Napolitan Student Center.

The free event will feature Jane Heneger, executive director of the American Civil Liberties Union of Indiana, and Curt Smith, president of the Indiana Family Institute. Former Indiana Chief Justice Randall Shepard will moderate.

The hour long event is designed to help people learn more about the issue. The debate will be broadcast live on the campus radio station WFCI 89.5 FM.
