Each week, we bring you Making It, audio postcards that celebrate DIY artists Making It in Indiana. This week, Melissa Davis speaks with Justin Brown, an Indianapolis artist who creates art to profile famous and influential people. He makes his art with each subject’s FBI file, collages of pictures and words. Many pieces are about the size of a concert poster.

"This is my first time on the record. Remember me if I disappear," Brown says. He quickly adds that he's just kidding, but it's clear that his craft in intelligence art is serious.

Making It is reported and produced by Melissa Davis, as part of 90.1 WFYI's Curious Mix. This weekly series celebrates Indiana’s DIY artists.
