Evan Bayh Expected to Enter Senate Race

Indiana clergy continue to denounce Lt. Gov. Micah Beckwith's statements about the Three-Fifths Compromise and call on the governor to take a stronger stand. They say Gov. Mike Braun's response so far has been "woefully inadequate."

In an executive order, President Trump directs the Corporation for Public Broadcasting to stop funding NPR and PBS. They say he can't. PBS chief Paula Kerger calls it "blatantly unlawful".

Fortunately, the Indiana Department of Environmental Management said it didn't receive any reports of damage to the state's coal ash ponds. But many of those ponds are in the floodplain, putting them at greater risk for spills.
