Hundreds Of Dead Fish found At Indianapolis Retention Pond

Officials are looking into the deaths of hundreds of fish found at an Indianapolis retention pond.

TV station WRTV reports the dead fish are floating in the pond, which is located near a golf course on the city's northwest side. People living near the pond complained about the smell. On Wednesday evening, dead fish were seen lining the pond's edge.

There's no immediate word about what caused the deaths. The Marion County Health Department says it's been out to check on the conditions at the pond.
