Indy Mayor To Deliver 2020 State Of The City Address

Indianapolis Mayor Joe Hogsett will deliver the 2020 State of the City address at the start of Monday's City-County Council meeting.  

Hogsett’s remarks will kick off the 2021 budget season, providing an overview of work being done to slow the spread of COVID-19 and recovery efforts, as well as investments in criminal justice reform, public safety, and infrastructure.

The council will hear from agencies and departments during committee meetings throughout the next two months. The final budget passage is expected at the council's October meeting.

The meeting is schediuled to begin Monday at 7 p.m., with the Mayor’s remarks slated to begin at approximately 7:05 p.m.
