Making Coffee To Build Community

Rabble Coffee's Josie Hunckler

Sydney Brackenmyre

Each week on 90.1 WFYI's Curious Mix, we feature a local DIY or Do It Yourself artist who is Making It. This week, Curious Mix contributor Ariana Beedie introduces us to Josie Hunckler, who is using coffee to build community.

Hunckler is the owner of Rabble Coffee on the near east side of Indianapolis. She says that Rabble is her preferred medium because she enjoys sociology and people. Hunckler adds, "I put a lot of time, energy, and focused intention in creating a space that's going to be welcoming to the people around it. Our customers are our friends and family."
