Hoosiers have one week left to register to vote for the 2020 general election.

The deadline to register for this fall’s election is Monday, Oct. 5. If you register in person at your local election administrator’s office, that means the end of the business day. If you register online at IndianaVoters.com, you have until midnight.

Early in-person voting begins the next day, Oct. 6. Locations and hours of early voting sites vary from county to county.

About 384,000 people have requested mail-in ballots so far this cycle. That’s already more than double the total number of Hoosiers who voted by mail in 2016.
